I’m selling a Lawn Boy Gold Series 3-speed self-propelled mower with a rear-wheel drive, featuring a 4.5 HP 2-cycle commercial-grade engine and an aluminum deck that’s rust-free. It appears to have minimal usage. However, there seems to be an issue with the throttle cable, potentially disconnected or broken, affecting the throttle and choke functions. This results in unchanged engine speed and difficulty starting, particularly in cold conditions. Additionally, the primer bulb may need replacement. Once started, it performs well—cutting, driving, and utilizing all three self-propel speeds effectively. The model dates back to 1995 and includes a fuel shut-off, while the blades remain sharp.
